Sustainable Energy
Overview

Solar and wind energy is the most common natural energy, is also the inexhaustible source of clean energy. With the significant reduction of the BTS power consumption, wind-solar power supply system has become possible.

Challenge and Opportunity

The power load of the sites in remote areas is generally small, and the distance is far, it is no economic to transmit power by grid. A local diesel power generator is needed to provide the power.

However, diesel generators can be only as a temporary energy emergency. In order to supply the long-term stable and reliable power, it will have to depend on local natural resources.

Our Solutions

Solar and wind energy in terms of time and geographical have strongly complementary to each other. During the day, the sunlight is strong while wind is weak; in the evening after sunset, the light is weak, but the wind is strengthen because of big changes in surface temperature. In the summer, sunlight is intensity and wind is small; in the winter, the sunlight is weak and wind is strong.

Solar and wind power in time of the complementarity of each other, so the wind-solar complementary generation systems are the best independent power system in remote area.

We have deployed wind-solar power supply widely in China, Africa and MENA. According to our test in Africa, wind and solar generation system can achieve return on investment balance in 3-4 years comparing to diesel generations. After that, no diesel oil consumption is needed. Therefore, OPEX is saved while carbon emissions are reduced.
