Huawei iManager N2510 V200R002C00 Product Is Generally Available

Introduction 

Based on the profound understanding of the operation and maintenance in the access network, Huawei launches a dedicated line assurance system, named the iManager N2510, to evaluate, analyze, diagnose, and optimize the line QoS. 

The N2510 provides carriers with the line test and line assurance functions for copper and optical lines at the subscriber access layer. These functions are used in three scenarios, namely, evaluation of the line quality before the service provisioning, and line service assurance and line fault location during the service operation. 

The N2510 is designed as a professional line test and assurance system. It has powerful test processing capability to perform copper line test (hardware test, software test, and expert analysis for copper lines) and optical line test (OTDR test and expert analysis for optical lines). In addition, the N2510 can perform maintenance and management for certain current networks that are built with both copper lines and optical lines. 

The N2510 helps to improve the service provisioning efficiency, shorten the time of fault diagnosis, ensure the service experience, exploit the line bandwidth potential, thus improving carrier' s service quality and reduce OPEX.

Line Evaluation
  • The N2510 can judge whether the line has a fault that affects the service provisioning and evaluate the available upstream and downstream rates after the service is provisioned. Therefore, the N2510 avoids rework during the service provisioning and ensures the successful one-time service provisioning.
  • Ensures the stable upgrade of new services and reduces faults that may occur during the upgrade.
Line Optimization
  • With the technologies such as the dynamic line management (DLM) and dynamic spectrum management (DSM), The N2510 automatically optimizes the lines and fully develops.
