Huawei's 4th Generation BTS features convergence of multiple radio access technologies (RATs), multiple carriers on one radio carrier (RC), green optimization, and all IP. Huawei is the first vendor to initiate a convergent network solution where all the RATs can be applied to a single type of BTS. In turn, Huawei's SingleRAN Solution, another industry first, provides a uniquely convergent solution for all foreseeable primary network needs.

UTRAN
Huawei has become world’s top 2 UMTS equipment supplier. As of Q3 09, Huawei’s UMTS Node B had deployed a total of more than 1.28 million TRXs with over 175K TRXs shipped during Q3 of 2009 alone. As of Q3 09, Huawei had won more than 130 HSPA commercial contracts .
GSM BSS
Being the mainstream GSM supplier providing 3G-oriented and IP-based solutions to realize the maximum value for customers, Huawei is the most appropriate strategic partner in mobile network transformation. As of Q3 09, Huawei’s GSM recorded total deployment of more than 4.27 million transceivers (TRXs) with 539K newly-added TRXs during Q3 of 2009 alone, serving more than 240 GSM operators in 110 countries with more than 627 million GSM subscribers worldwide.

WiMAX
With the excellent end-to-end integrated and planning capability in wireless/IP field, Huawei's Mobile WiMAX solution can fulfill the economical and efficient network deployment through the convergence with the existing network such as 2G/3G.

Huawei's iManager OSS is a wireless network management system designed to manage full-phase communication networks including GSM/CDMA/UMTS/WIMAX/IP, core networks, and IMS networks.
